5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The massive truck began raining tomatoes and suddenly I was knee-deep! There was no escape. Sheer terror. Sheer bliss! It was full on war!

I fought with all my strength to keep myself from face-planting into the beautiful pile of red and also to keep my camera above me out of the quick-forming tomato soup. With the EDM pumping, the blood bath began just like a vampire cult music video. You couldn’t help but shriek, jump to the beat, dance and laugh. It was an incredulous scene.

We walked away soaked head-to-toe in tomato red and with smiles as wide as the Cheshire Cat’s. Even better were the bewildered head scratches from the rest of Amsterdam as we rode away on our bikes afterwards.

I couldn’t help stop at our local pizza place on the way home.
